Automatic Dynamic Parallelotope Bundles for Reachability Analysis of Nonlinear Systems

Reachable set computation is an important technique for the verification of safety properties dynamical systems. In this paper, we investigate reachable discrete nonlinear systems based on parallelotope bundles. The algorithm relies computing upper bound supremum a function over rectangular domain, which has been traditionally done using Bernstein polynomials. We strive to remove manual step template selection make method fully automatic. Furthermore, show that changing templates dynamically during computations cans improve accuracy. To end, two techniques generating directions. first approximates dynamics as linear transformation and generates transformation. second uses Principal Component Analysis (PCA) sample trajectories templates. have implemented our approach in Python-based tool called Kaa its performance by main enhancements. modular use types global optimization solvers, polynomials NASA’s Kodiak library.
